Photography Workshop:
Columbia River Gorge

Columbia River Gorge Waterfall

Towering Basalt and Thundering Falls

Jun 3-4, 2017

Over these two days we will barely have time to scratch the surface of the area with the highest concentration of waterfalls in North America. During this time of year the snow melt pours over the basalt walls of the gorge into the clear greenish-blue pools below. The lush plants and mosses of the region provide emerald green foregrounds. This workshop does require the ability to hike 4.5 miles round trip with elevation gains of about 700 ft. Join me in exploring this incredible part of the country.

Workshop At A Glance

Over two days we will be visiting four of my favorite waterfalls in the Columbia River Gorge along with learning how to photograph the cascading water. Throughout this workshop we will be using both solid and graduated neutral density filters to balance the light entering our cameras.

Although this is not set up like my traditional workshop with edit and critique sessions, this is still set up as a learning experience. In field education is more of the stress on this trip along with an insiders look into a phenomenal photographic region.
