On Sunday nights Venice Beach lights up. This already odd enclave has a weekly parade of illuminated bicycles that take to the boardwalks to bring smiles to all that are around. Join me for a look at Venice Beach like few others have seen it and learn how to capture it in a different way.
We will start out with a little instruction on how to possibly experiment through the evening to create some truly unique images. Then you will be free to roam on your own to captuer the sunset and blue hour. You will want a camera with manual exposure capabilities and optionally, a tripod, even if it’s a small one still able to hold your gear. A jacket for the evening wind is also recommended. We will meet under the big Iron “V” on the beach at the end of Windward Ave. The large “V” shaped iron sculpture is south of the skate park and north of the beach police station, pictured here.
